Here is an article from the Daily Green, November 9, 2007, about a study done finding synthetic chemicals in our bodies (http://www.thedailygreen.com/environmental-news/latest/body-burden-47110904).

My boys are both teenagers now. Since they are often on the computer, I do send them opportunities to sign petitions or otherwise get involved online in human rights or environmental issues. Amnesty International has a take action section for children, for example.
